We believe in freedom of choice as a tool to get students (and others!) excited about reading. Lit is an app for everyone: an inclusive community. You don't need to be a frequent reader to become part of it.

After setting up a personal account, students will be able to browse authors and books through categories, upload and rate the books that they've read (or started but never finished)...

Or they can use the app's functions to diversify their school reading lists, many of which are packed with the white male perspective and not much else. Instead of suggesting alternative books, Lit suggests alternative authors, allowing students to easily discover authors whose experiences they relate to.
